1) Take a deep breath – breathing exercises are key to warm up before walking up on stage (or on camera or via Zoom)

3) Be dressed to rock – what you wear is your calling card and tells people what you are about (you can go against expectation and wear something that will surprise them too)

4) Have a 15-second elevator pitch of who you are

5) Tell them what you are passionate about and why they should listen to you

6) Share a personal experience or behind the scenes story that (really!) happened to you

7) Answer the #1 question everyone asks you about

8) Ask them a question, something that they can relate or do a poll with the audience

9) Tell them about a way for them to connect with you one-on-one (email, website, podcast, etc.)
