It All Began When I Said "No."
For years I've wondered what it would have been like to be a Victoria's Secret Model. I was about 15 years old and worked as a model in Brazil with Gisele and Alessandra Ambrosio. I was doing theater and acting, and also doing runway shows and photo shoots. I went to a casting for runway shows in underwear, where I wrote down “No.” Shortly after that I got a call asking if I'd lose a few inches on my hips.I said "If they like me, they will take my hips the way they are." I did not hear back from them. Here we are.
Since then I have been able to embrace my true self, and have a life I am passionate about. As a speaker, I held my own 1-hour live show aboard cruise ships and traveled the world to over 33 countries. My true power is being who I am (for better or worse). Holding my own and being my true self, I've always been like that even before it was fashionable. Being genuine is a quality that has opened more doors than I could imagine. Everyone is looking for someone who's kind, compassionate and generous, whether they know it or not. So if you want some career advice: BE A GOOD PERSON.
My superpower is helping women become the best version of themselves while pursuing the kind of life they actually want.... one with abundant freedom, joy, and peace.
I interviewed hundreds of A-list celebrities, including Robert De Niro, Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, George Clooney, Keira Knightley and Helen Mirren in the winner's room when she won her Tony Awards. I became well-known as the red carpet host for Hollywood TV. Via Reuters’ digital distribution platform, Hollywood TV transmitted stories every day to our subscribers worldwide with over 400 million views. Our footage was featured on Entertainment Tonight/The Insider, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, AP, Splash News, RTL (Germany) and many others. At Netflix, I worked as producer on "Ultimate Beastmaster" executive produced by Sylvester Stallone. My Smirnoff voice over campaign has over 2 million hits on youtube.
LOA, essential oils, honest emails. kindness, love, magic, myself, gut-feelings, chai lattes and cutting out the 'meh' to make room for my very best.
Going around in circles unless it's to come full circle, small talk, dairy, gluten, uneventful evenings, acronyms, fluff pieces.
Guesting on podcasts, viral videos, working in my pjs, out in nature, Netflix binging, writing, cooking, on delightful zoom calls, playing chess, samba/zumba dancing.
Morning meditation, affirmations, journaling, smoothies, avo toast, barre class, and good skincare (Stone face massager, what!)
